Patrizia Di Benedetto, born in Palermo Sicily, 1960 June 25th.

Her mother is a very keen on sicilian old food, and convey to her the love about cookery and Knowledge. She becomes, instead, accountant and works in a computer shop.

But this is not her life, and when in 1988 she meets Antonio (now her husband), sommelier in a restaurant, she leaves the office and together they decide to open a little restaurant.

They travel around Europe and work in different places to learn all they can about cuisine.

In 1991 they open the “bye bye blues” and begin their challenge. The restaurant was immediately successful. Her dishes are fresh and full of mediterranean aromas.

In 1997, wins a prize as Best Pastry Chef by a culinary guide.

In 2010 she becomes the only Michelin-starred chef in Palermo and the only female-starred chef in Sicily.
